The LIFE vision group for Creative Arts, in conjunction with Cheltenham Christian Arts Festival held a competition to design a piece of art on the theme ‘Eden: Restoring Paradise’.
Over 100 entries were submitted and the long awaited results are finally available.
But judges Bishop Rachel and renowned artist PJ Crook came up with different winners.
Nikki Seville, competition organiser said, “The calibre of entries was so high, they both came up with different winners. This is unprecedented in our competition history!”
Bishop Rachel who is a patron of the Christian Arts Festival said, “What an amazing array of art – it is wonderfully diverse.”
We’ve including the winning seven entries for you to take a quick peek, but to see the real pieces and the pieces created by the runners up, you will need to visit the Garden Gallery in Cheltenham’s Montpellier Gardens on 3 to 7 December (Covid restrictions permitting), 10m to 5pm.

Highly Commended: Carole Bury, Sue Trickey and commended: Elizabeth Green, Andrea McClean.
