The Church of England’s weekly online service, streamed every Sunday at 9am, is being hosted at St Catharine’s, Gloucester in its national broadcast on 23 February 2025.
Recording will take place at St Catharine’s on 2 February 2025.
The Revd Jo Pestell, Vicar of St Catharine’s, said: “We’re really looking forward to leading the online service at the end of February. It feels a privilege to be able to do that and we’re praying a lot at the moment about how we might lead this wider online community in worship that day.
“There’s lots of planning going on at the moment, and one thing that we’re trying to do is record intercessions in different parts of the parish as different members of St Catharine’s go about their daily lives, for example on Saturday it was great to join park run at Plock Court in the top end of our parish and record a prayer there with some of the church members who volunteer and run there every week.
“We are planning to do the main part of the recording during our service this coming Sunday 2 February, and hope to be able to reflect the diversity of our church community with the different people taking part in the service.”
