Published: Monday October 19, 2026

We are delighted to announce the results of the recent General Synod elections, welcoming seven representatives who will help bring the voices and experiences of our diocesan community to the national Church.

As the Church of England’s national decision-making body, General Synod brings together the House of Bishops, the House of Clergy and the House of Laity to consider matters of faith, worship, mission and ministry.

Our newly elected representatives will play a valuable part in these discussions, helping to shape the future of the Church and its work in the world.
