Education Team Assistant – 12 month fixed term contract (Term time only – 8 hours per week)

We are seeking a highly organised and motivated individual to join our Education Team as an Administrative Assistant, providing vital support to the Diocesan Director of Education.

  • Term time only, 8 hours per week
  • 12 month fixed term contract
  • Band 7 £5,451 – £5,825 per annum (FTE £23,850 – £25,486)

About the Role
The overall purpose of this post is to deliver high-quality secretarial, clerical and administrative support to the Diocesan Director of Education. This includes efficient diary management and coordination of meetings and appointments. The role will also provide flexible support to other administrative functions across the Education Team when required.

About You
We are looking for someone who:

  • Has excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Communicates confidently and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
  • Is proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.).
  • Works well independently and as part of a team.
  • Can handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
