The Archbishop of Canterbury had breakfast with farmers in the North Cotswolds today (Friday 24 May).
They enjoyed a breakfast of bacon rolls and croissants and took time out of their busy calendar to consider some of the big issues in farming.
From managing their farms in a way that supports creation, to considering how depression affects people in largely isolated careers like farming, the conversations were honest and heartfelt. Archbishop Justin shared about how depression has affected his family and the importance of talking about mental health and reaching out.
“This is why community is so important and how God brings people into community.”
