Based on editor feedback, the Church of England is making some improvements to AChurchNearYou.com later this month.
The main improvements include:
- No more logging in to read inbox messages: Inbox messages will be forwarded in full to the email address of your choice, as well as appearing in the inbox.
- Speedier, easier editor access approvals: Anyone with standard editor access will be able to approve new editor requests for their church – no need to be an ‘Administrator’.
- Reuse images with the improved image library: Easily pick an existing image to illustrate a new event, no need to reupload an image each time, unless you want to.
There are also a number of smaller improvements.
To prepare for the changes, it’s a good idea to check the email address you currently have on the website as this is where messages from your AChurchNearYou.com inbox will be forwarded.
All AChurchNearYou.com editors will receive an email on or after 23 August, as soon as these changes are live.
