You might want to watch the the national Church’s Mothering Sunday service, featuring Bishop Rachel and Alexandra Dyer, Reader at St James’, Tredworth in Gloucester and a reading from Margaret Edwards of the Diocese of Gloucester’s Mothers’ Union. You can watch the service on the Church of England’s website or YouTube channel, broadcast from 9am.
Do make a note in your diary of the national Mother’s Day Church of England Radio service which will be led by Archdeacon Hilary and will feature Canon Revd Dr Sandra Millar, Head of Life Events for the national Church and licensed preacher in our Diocese. This service will be broadcast across all the local BBC radio stations at 8am on Sunday.
