Thriving Church – Shaping Mission for a New Generation
Our second Thriving Church day will be focused on how we can shape our churches for the current generation of children, youth and their parents.
The day will focus on understanding better those under the age of 35 (Millennials, Gen Z, and Generation Alpha), hearing directly from them, and exploring how our churches can meet them where they are at.
We will be joined by Gemma Madle (Senior Researcher, Youthscape) and Ruth Perrin (Author of Changing Shape, the Faith Lives of Millennials) who will be sharing the latest thinking and culture.
Barrie Voyce & Jo Wetherall, Senior Connectors in the Diocese, will also be bringing us the findings of the research with youth and the parents of children in the Diocese who are not part of our church communities.
There will be space for Deanery teams to consider this research in light of your own contexts, Deanery Strategic Pathways and opportunities.
You’ll leave inspired and with a plan of action for mission and ministry to young people in your context!
This event is now fully booked, if you would like to join the waitlist please contact Sophie Simmonds on ku.gr1776714857o.coi1776714857dsolg1776714857@sdno1776714857mmiss1776714857.
