Churches Together has donated over 200 copies of “It’s Your Move” to Year 6 pupils in the local primary schools of Churchdown and Innsworth.

Published by Scripture Union, “It’s Your Move” aims to support their transition from primary to secondary school. It provides essential advice and information to help children navigate the significant changes and challenges that come with moving schools.

The book includes real-life stories from peers who have recently made the transition, as well as engaging puzzles, quizzes, and spaces for personalisation through doodles, signatures, and photo pages.

Rachael Champness, Chair of Churches Together in Churchdown and Innsworth, commented: “We are delighted to offer this gift to our local schools. It’s our way of showing that we care about the well-being and development of our young people, and we believe this book will be a tremendous help to them during this important time.”

Churches Together in Churchdown and Innsworth unites local Christian congregations, including St Andrew’s, St Bartholomew’s, St. John’s, Our Lady’s, and Churchdown Methodists.

In December 2022, they gifted over 1,300 copies of the Christmas storybook “Amazing Days” to Churchdown and Innsworth primary school children, along with affiliated learning resources for teachers.
