Gloucestershire MU gets a new chaplain

Liz was the director of Glenfall House, the diocesan retreat house where many Mothers’ Union retreats were held until its closure in  2013.

Liz was ordained in 2011, and her ministry until 2013 was in running retreat houses.  She then became a team vicar in the North Cheltenham Team ministry before moving to the Stroudwater Team in 2018.  Stroudwater is a team of 15 parishes south of Gloucester and home to two Mothers’ Union branches.  She is also Assistant Area Dean for Stroud Deanery, and Spirituality Advisor in Gloucester Diocese.

Liz said, “I’m really looking forward to working with MU as their chaplain, and my late mother-in-law a MU stalwart would be very proud!”

Liz is married to Simon and they have two adult daughters.
