It’s a familiar story: you have wonderful connections with your local primary school, but when the children move to “big” school, they seem to vanish. It doesn’t have to be this way! By nurturing relationships with children through Year 6, you can support them as they take this significant step in their lives. This effort can also pave the way for a new church youth group, building on the strong foundation established in primary school.

These meeting will be organised by the Youth Connect Team, including Jo Wetherall (Senior Children and Families Connector) and Barrie Voyce (Senior Youth Connector).
Jo supports churches across the diocese in developing their work with children and families, including the nurturing of faith in the home and school-parish relationships.
Barrie leads the growing network of deanery youth connectors, enabling and equipping effective youth ministry across the diocese.
