Faith and Finance – a financial wellbeing conference
‘Faith and finance’ is designed to help us think more clearly, confidently, and faithfully about money, in our personal lives, our households, and our wider communities. We want to help people grow in financial literacy not only for their own wellbeing and that of their loved ones, but also so we can make choices that contribute to the common good; choices rooted in Christian hope, compassion, and wisdom.
A wide range of practical and ethical topics will be explored with expert speakers, including:
Pensions and planning for the future
Investments and ethical decision-making
Legacy and will writing
Ethical personal banking
Talking to children about money
Tools for everyday money management
This is a day for everyone, not just treasurers or church leaders, but for anyone who wants to understand their finances more clearly and make decisions that align with their Christian values. Whether you’re feeling confident, worried, curious or simply ready to learn, you will be warmly welcomed. ‘Faith and Finance’ is a chance to explore what money means to us as part of our Christian faith and also take away some personal action points that we can implement in our own daily lives.
Lunch and refreshments will be included.
Full booking details will be released in the new year, but for now we encourage you to save the date: Saturday 21 March, from 10am to 4pm at St John’s Church, Churchdown.
