The Gloucester Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church of the Good Shepherd is collecting donations to be transported to Ukraine.
The church is managing to get donations into Ukraine and is receiving frequent updates on which items can helpfully be donated.
On Friday 8 and Saturday 9 April the church will be collecting items at Derby Road, Gloucester, GL1 4AE.
After that time they will be moving to collect items at Unit 3, Chancel Close, Eastern Avenue, Gloucester GL4 3SN.
The current updated list that the church is collecting (as of 5 April 2022) is:
- Men’s warm socks (new)
- Men’s underwear (new)
- Men’s thermals
- Women and children’s underwear (new)
- Bandages
- Plasters and dressings
- Paracetamol/Ibuprofen/ cold remedies
- Toiletries (men/women)
- Dried foodstuffs
- Tinned food (preferably with a ring pull)
- Torches
- Batteries
