Climate change talks are taking place in Paris next month but this weekend Gloucester is holding its own family-friendly walk to learn more about climate changes on a local level.
The Greener Gloucestershire Walk is a two mile walk from the Cathedral to Robinswood Hill on Saturday 21 November. It has been organised by the Diocese of Gloucester and the Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust.
Walkers will gather in the Cathedral cloisters from 10am where there will be stalls from local environmental groups.
The walk starts at 11am underneath the Ivor Gurney window in the Lady Chapel. The route is approximately two miles long. During the walk there will be reflective craft stations and a tree will be planted in the community orchard near the car park at Robinswood Hill.
Bring a picnic lunch, take some time out to enjoy the outdoors and meet others who share a love of nature. There is an optional guided nature walk to the top of Robinswood Hill.
