It is crucial that our work as a DBE, and the shape of the work of our Education team, connects with the needs of our schools in this current (and constantly changing) landscape. Alongside this, we are required to fulfil the requirements of the DBE Measure, along with playing our part within the LIFE vision of the wider Diocese. We are committed to ensuring that our work is suitably focussed, effectively delivered and sustainably resourced.
We have produced a vision and core commitments document that outlines how, as a Board, we feel we can fulfil our commitment to our schools. This document comes as a result of the wider consultation work completed last autumn and creative conversations with our Board and Education team, and will shape the work of the GDBE team for the coming years.
