Malmesbury Abbey presents Riding Lights improv show, Right Here Right Now for this year’s Carnival & Festival on Saturday 22 August 2026 at 7pm.
The show is a hilarious improv comedy that will bring the roof down with laughter. It’s funny, foolish, it’s fit for family audiences, and it really does make it up as it goes along. Bring your suggestions and watch as our merry band of improvisers turn them into chaotic comedy. Book now for a night of sensational silliness.
This year Malmesbury Abbey is playing their part in the town’s annual carnival and festival. The Abbey has enjoyed a long-standing relationship with Riding Lights and this event is an opportunity to join in our community festivities with a values led show.
Riding Lights Theatre Company tours communities across the UK, performing in churches, schools, prisons, theatres, and on the streets for nearly 50 years. Shaped by a Christian ethos, their work is inclusive, accessible and welcoming to all. Riding Lights seek to joyfully inspire audiences to engage with ideas surrounding creativity, faith and social justice.
Riding Lights also run theatre-making courses, summer schools and creative retreats to support emerging and community artists, as well as resourcing schools and churches with podcasts, films and scripts to make their own theatre which makes a difference.
