A Reader’s Calling

You are invited to a Quiet Day for Readers on Thursday 5 November from 10am to 3pm at Harnhill Centre of Christian Healing, Harnhill, Cirencester, Gloucestershire, GL7 5PX.

This day, led by Elli Wort (Diocese of Gloucester Lifelong Learning lead) is on the theme of ‘A Reader’s Calling’, giving you time to reflect on God’s calling on your life and your ministry as a Reader. Before joining the Diocese of Gloucester, Elli was Head of Training and Equipping for Church Army, forming people for Licensed Lay Ministry in the Anglican church.

The programme for the day will be:

10.00am – Opening worship

10.15am – Opening reflection

10.30am – Quiet period for personal prayer, walking in nature, journaling or creative art

11.30am – Refreshments and second reflection

11.45am – Quiet period for personal prayer, walking in nature, journaling or creative art

1.15pm – Midday worship

1.30pm – Buffet lunch

2.00pm – Quiet period for personal prayer, walking in nature, journaling or creative art

2.45pm – Closing worship

3.00pm – End
