Being well day at St Mary’s Wotton-under-Edge

Saturday 16 August 2025, 10:00 am to 3:00 pm
Immersive space for Being well day

Children and adults are invited to encounter peace, hope and healing through music, pilates, mindfulness, quiet spaces, nature, prayer walks, reflective readings, health through nutrition and children’s activities. Refreshments are included.

We are called by God to Love Him and to love our neighbour, but to do this we all know the first step is learning to love ourselves.
Our Being well day will help reflect and experience how we can take care of ourselves physically, emotionally and spiritually.
A local fitness coach is offering free pilates classes, plus a session for young children too.
A local nutritionist is giving talks on how to care for our bodies through what we eat and offering yummy lunches.
A local masseur is giving head and shoulder massages.
we also have ‘Men’s Shed’ with us, offering support for men’s mental health.
You sign up for all activities and groups on the day. There will be many interactive activities for all ages, including an immersive space to relax into, and prayer stations and opportunities to be still.

Come and join us for an hour or set the time aside and join us for the whole day.
