Church of England crossThe Church of England has today apologised for its role in historical adoption practices, particularly in mother and baby homes.

We recognise that this apology and the information shared may evoke a wide range of thoughts and emotions for different people. We want to acknowledge that with care, and ensure that anyone affected is able to access the support that is right for them.
