Children & Youth Summer Camps – Connecting Together

If you’ve always wanted to take your group away to a Christian Summer Camp, but lack the numbers, volunteers, or energy to do so, worry no more!

The Connect Team want to bring like minded leaders together, join them up and send them out to experience the spiritual and relational highs of taking a group away, whilst sharing the planning, organising and stresses between them.

We’ll be looking at what camps are out there, what’s suitable, and exploring some of the logistical challenges.

By the end of the evening we hope we’ll have a plan of who’s doing what, and more importantly, who’s taking their group where.

These meeting will be organised by the Youth Connect Team, including Jo Wetherall (Senior Children and Families Connector) and Barrie Voyce (Senior Youth Connector).

Jo supports churches across the diocese in developing their work with children and families, including the nurturing of faith in the home and school-parish relationships.

Barrie leads the growing network of deanery youth connectors, enabling and equipping effective youth ministry across the diocese.
