Talk on how to manage churchyards for biodiversity and nature recovery

Monday 22 July 2024, 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm

Rebecca Charley, Strategic Lead for Nature Recovery and Biodiversity Stroud District Council, and Georgia Spooner, SDC Climate Change engagement officer, will be speaking about managing our churchyards for Biodiversity and Nature Recovery.

Rebecca, who is interested in making sure that churchyards are included in the District Council’s wider planning, will talk about the importance of wildlife in churchyards and how they can be managed to enhance biodiversity.

Georgia will talk about the climate change work she is doing.

Refreshments are available on arrival from 1.30pm.

All are welcome to attend. There will be an opportunity for questions and discussion.
