We pray for the world, because wherever people like us are at, at this moment, we want them to know they’re loved. And we pray that God is with them, just as they are with us.
Please continue to pray for all those involved, lay and ordained, in your benefice, deanery and diocese.
The Diocesan Prayer Companion:
This Diocesan Prayer Companion has been thoughtfully prepared to support your prayers for the Diocese of Gloucester and its associated communities.
Each Sunday contains a collect and a prayer focus for the week to come, looking at different areas of the Life vision. There are daily prayer prompts to encourage prayer for benefices, schools, the diocese and beyond. It will be uploaded quarterly to the diocesan website.
The format has been updated from previous editions, with the decision not to name specific individuals. This adjustment serves several purposes: it enhances accuracy, eases the administrative work required to produce the booklet, and helps ensure the long-term sustainability of the project.
