If you’re looking for a grant of up to £3,500 to help your worshipping community with local mission, the Diocese of Gloucester’s Mission Grant Scheme is something to explore.
It is administered by the Department of Mission and Ministry and supports the Diocese of Gloucester’s ‘LIFE Together’ vision.
The scheme provides small grants of up to £3,500 for mission projects.
What could you use this for?
In the past, we’ve supported all kinds of church community activities, from Christmas Crib Festival in Chipping Sodbury to the ‘Festival of Wonder’ in Stroud. We’ve helped to kit out church kitchens and we’ve provided support for other church and community outreach projects.
Use your imagination!
Parish and community activities, with a specific emphasis on engaging with those who are not regular church goers, is what we are able to fund. It could be children and young people’s ministry, hospitality and welcome projects, pastoral and wellbeing projects, arts, music and drama outreach projects, sports and recreational outreach projects, or maybe small festivals encouraging engagement with the Christian faith. As long as your project is consistent with the aims of the Diocese of Gloucester’s ‘LIFE Together’ vision, we’d love to hear what you’re planning, and how a grant from the Mission Grant Scheme would help.
