Applying for a grant from the Gloucestershire Historic Churches Trust
The deadline for applications for the next round of Gloucestershire Historic Churches Trust funding is 30 April.
The GHCT makes grants twice a year towards repairs and improvement of churches of any Christian denomination, in Gloucestershire, South Gloucestershire, and North Bristol. (or 31 October for the December meeting).
The Grants Secretary, Jonathan MacKechnie-Jarvis, has some reassuring words for the hard-pressed appeal treasurer: “We try to keep the application process simple, flexible and painless. All the necessary advice is on our guidance notes, which is on our website together with the application form. But if people get stuck they can email or pick up the phone. We take a broad view of the word “historic”. Your church doesn’t need to be listed to qualify.”
