Adele Owen, the Director of Gloucester Action for Refugees and Asylum Seekers (GARAS), is asking for help with donations and volunteers.

She said, “Here in Gloucestershire, we want to continue to help welcome those seeking sanctuary. To help with this, unusually, GARAS is asking for volunteers for sorting and vouchers for supermarkets to help new arrivals who have arrived with nothing.”

They now have enough donations of clothing, but are still looking for financial help and for supermarket vouchers.

You can donate here www.garas.org.uk

If you wish to donate supermarket vouchers please post to GARAS, Falkner St, Gloucester, GL1 4SQ.
