Bishop Rachel joins Prison Fellowship as Patron

Christian charity Prison Fellowship England and Wales (PF) has announced Bishop Rachel as its newest patron. Bishop Rachel was also recently appointed as Bishop to Prisons.

She joins Jonathan Aitken as patron, and replaces Bishop James Langstaff who is stepping down from his position.

Bishop Rachel said, “It is a delight and priviledge to take on this role as one of the patrons of Prison Fellowship. I am imspired by the care, passion and prayer of PF and I look forward to deepening relationships in the coming months andyears.”

PF CEO Peter Holloway said, “I am delighted that Bishop Rachel has joined Prison Fellowship as our Patron. Her presence brings a ray of light in what has been a very difficult few months for everyone including those in prison. She brings a vast breadth of experience together with an immense amount of compassion. Her work with those in prison and for the Church will greatly enrich Prison Fellowship.”
