The Revd Nick Davies has recently been doing a weekly video around the value ‘Respect’ for St James’ C of E Primary, with the aim for the children to make connections between the value of respect, the Black Lives Matter coverage in sport and the general media and Jesus’ parable of the Good Samaritan. It also offers a space for self-reflection on the relationships we have where we could show more respect.
The video can be found below. It’s a really good way to get children involved, and a good way of explaining respect to them, in a way they can understand!
