Contemporary music: Worship team training

The Worship Foundation is partnering with the Diocese of Gloucester and a number of local churches in the region to make Worship Team Training in using contemporary music accessible to local churches in Gloucestershire.

Contemporary music: Worship Team Training 2019: Dates and Locations

All sessions start at 9.30am with coffee and finish at 1pm

St James’ Bream Saturday 2 March, Saturday 12 October, hosted with Chris McLay and the St James worship team.

St Catharine’s Gloucester Saturday 26 January and Saturday 5  October hosted with Brian Champion and the St Catharine’s worship team.

Holy Trinity Tewkesbury Saturday 2 February, Saturday 28 Septemberh, hosted with Sue Perks and the Holy Trinity worship team

Cirencester Baptist Church Saturday 9 February and Saturday 19 October, hosted with Phil and Robyn Trainer and the Cirencester Baptist church worship team.

Worship Team Training 2019: Content

The training will be for worship leaders, worship teams and technical teams, focusing on training that is accessible and relevant to those in local church contexts, whether you are at the start of your journey, or looking for new inspiration.

Over the course of the two sessions we will be looking at the Biblical Foundations of worship, worshipping and praying for each other as well as doing some seminars covering:

Worship Leading; Building a Worship Team Culture; Songwriting; Band Dynamics and Vocals; Audio Visual; Finding and Resourcing Songs.

Cost: £10 (+ Booking Fee £1.37)

Two training sessions during 2019

Membership of the Gloucestershire Worship Facebook Group.

Access to The Worship Zone, – a new worship resource website developed in partnership with Kingdom Aps. The website gives access to easy-to-use resources, chord charts, iSingWorship files, a Technical Blog (Dan Bowater) and a Theology Blog (Neil Bennetts).
