Cirencester Baptist Churches Together SchoolsOn Thursday 7th September federated schools Siddington Church of England and Kemble Primary came together to hold their first joint whole federation event – a singing extravaganza!

Cirencester Baptist Church kindly hosted the event, with Revd Bob Morris welcoming everyone. During the morning, the children, led by Assistant Head Teacher Mrs Sian Hamlett, learnt new songs and practised their favourites. Two hundred children from both schools played and had lunch together, and with all staff there, the day was great fun. Parents arrived for a concert at 2:00pm which was opened by Bishop Rachel saying a prayer. The concert was recorded, so no clapping was allowed until the very end – it was hard to wait as the singing was amazing. During the day children designed a CD cover – all children will be given a recording of their very special day.
