The songs are a real highlight of the Leavers’ Service, and connect to the service themes. It is important that the children are familiar with these songs to be able to fully engage in the service and fill the Cathedral with joyous song.
The five songs that we will be singing this year can be found either as printable lyrics or through embedded videos with lyrics and, in some cases, actions. Happy learning!

Welcome to the Family – this song has appeared in recent services and so will be known to some members of staff. Although it will not be sung at the 2026 services it will still be played. We have therefore retained the lyrics and link to the video, should you wish to familiarise your pupils with it.
