Worship Leaders Course

Tuesday 6 May 2025, 7:00 pm to Tuesday 1 July 2025, 9:00 pm
Free

Feel called to lead worship in your context?

This course is designed to help you grow in confidence and understanding as you begin to lead worship, especially Services of the Word. It will cover the practical aspects of leading, but also dive into what worship really means — drawing on the Bible, Christian tradition, and the wisdom of today’s church.

It’s a supportive space where you will learn with and from one another. Before the course begins, you’ll need to talk with your incumbent and agree your attendance. They will then seek PCC approval for your participation. By this point, you’ll hopefully have already had some conversation about how you might serve in your local context. As the course goes on, you’ll gain more clarity and confidence about how to use your gifts in your parish or benefice.

The course is led by the Revd Sarah Todd and the Revd Dr Joe Mottram.

It takes place every Tuesday, 7pm to 9pm, from 6 May to 24 June, BUT there will be no sessions on the dates of 27 May and 3 June due to the half-term break.

There will be a review session on 1 July.

For registrations forms, email ku.gb1776967517ts@dd1776967517ot.ha1776967517ras1776967517.

Message from Bishop Rachel, 21 April 2026

As we live this season of Easter looking towards Ascension Day, followed ten days later by the Feast of Pentecost, I want to encourage us to consider how we might set aside those ‘in-between days’ to focus on prayer.…
