Preaching the Lectionary Gospel – a year with Matthew

Tuesday 18 November 2025, 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Free

In ‘Preaching the Lectionary – Matthew’, our aim will be to enter into Matthew’s world, exploring the particular Jewish characteristics of his writing and audience, and drawing out the unique contextual and theological insights of his Gospel, while also reflecting on key aspects which differ from both John and the other synoptics.  But at the core of it all is the message it conveys, and we’ll look together at how we might speak that same message into the hearts and lives of a very different audience today.

This event will run on Tuesday 18 November starting at 7pm or Wednesday 19 November at 10am

Led by Dan Button.
