Managing Difficult Conversations training

In response to feedback from churches about training which would be helpful, we have developed a new course which is aimed at supporting staff and volunteers who are at times confronted with difficult situations such as individuals displaying challenging or disruptive behaviour, or trying to end conversations well whilst ensuring that an individuals safety and well-being are promoted.

This training will help you consider the role, responsibilities and boundaries of both your individual role and the activity or worshiping community you are part of. The training will also equip you to recognise the signs that a situation might escalate and consider how to respond appropriately and safely.
