Gloucester Cathedral Holy Week Lectures 2026

Gloucester Cathedral’s Guest Preacher for Holy Week, the Venerable Dr Rachel Mann will lead a series of Holy Week lectures on the theme In the Midst of Love: With Jesus Through Holy Week.
This will be followed by a beautiful service of choral compline by candlelight, sung by the St Cecelia Singers. All are warmly welcome to attend this reflective series.
Rachel Mann is a priest, poet, writer and broadcaster. She has written sixteen books, including the T.S.Eliot Prize shortlisted Eleanor Among the Saints and acclaimed theology and spirituality books. She broadcasts regularly on BBC Radio 4 and Radio 2 including presenting Thought For The Day on the Today programme. She is currently Archdeacon of Salford and Bolton.
The lectures are on Monday 30 March, Tuesday 31 March and Wednesday 1 April, all beginning at 7pm.
