Getting Started & Keeping Going – Children’s Ministry
Getting started or keeping going?
Whether you are just dipping your toe in or have suddenly found yourself in the deep end of Children’s ministry come and join us for a thoroughly practical day learning with and from each other. This will include planning sessions, tips to manage groups, praying, singing, games, ice breakers, story telling, integrated age groups and Surprise Sundays!
We will also introduce the Children’s Ministry Essentials course for people interested in taking their learning further.
Lunch provided.
This event will be led by Jo Wetherall and Helen Champion.
Jo Wetherall – Senior Children and Families Connector
The Revd Joanne Wetherall supports churches across the diocese in developing their work with children and families, including the nurturing of faith in the home and school-parish relationships.
Helen Champion – Gloucester City Youth Connector
Helen is the Youth Connector for Gloucester city, working in the Deanery and wider Diocese to enable young people to experience ‘life in all its fullness.’
