Third Anglican Intercultural Mission Conference: The Primer

Saturday March 21, 9:30 am to 4:00 pm
£5

This conference is practical and designed for clergy and lay leaders, parish teams, and diocesan colleagues who want to move from goodwill to workable steps in local church life.

It is hosted by The Rt Revd Dr Tim Wambunya, Bishop of Wolverhampton and Founder Chair of ANIC.

Wolverhampton’s unique identity as a city of “the nations in our parishes” makes it the ideal setting for this timely and forward-looking conference.

This one-day gathering will explore the current state of intercultural mission in the Church of England — moving beyond diversity as presence, toward belonging, shared leadership, and faithful witness in a changing society.

What to expect

  • Challenging keynote addresses on intercultural belonging, spiritual openness, and mission in today’s England
  • Practical seminar workshops offering tools for clergy and lay leaders engaged in intercultural ministry
  • Space for learning, reflection, and conversation with others committed to God’s mission
  • A focus on moving from welcome to integration, and from attendance to shared life and leadership

Speakers include

  • The Revd Dr Mohan Seevaratnam (St Peter’s, Harrow)
  • The Revd Ray Gaston (St Chad’s & St Mark’s, Wolverhampton)
  • The Ven Liz Jackson (Archdeacon of Walsall)
