The Communications and Engagement department supports our vision by producing publications, providing content – words, photos and video – and resources for parish life. We also offer training and we work with the media to tell our stories.

The Bulletin is a weekly roundup of news and information for church leaders across the diocese. Contains news articles, legal and important updates, a roundup of media, vacancies and clergy news.

We are available to advise and support you on all media queries and communication, whether you have a local story that you would like to promote or need help in dealing with a journalist’s request.
We can assist you to manage any potential or current media issues. We can advise you most effectively if we are involved in the situation from an early stage, so please contact us as soon as possible. If you receive a call from a journalist that you do not feel comfortable dealing with, take the journalist’s contact details, the nature of their query and the deadline that they are writing to and get in touch with us so we can respond to them directly. A podcast series – In conversation with Bishop Rachel. Bishop Rachel speaks to people from across the diocese and beyond about a range of topics and gets to the heart of topical issues in our world today. Find out about different projects, organisations, partnerships and inspirational stories, as well as hearing from senior leaders, both lay and ordained, throughout the diocese. NB.
