SUMMARY:Faith and Finance – a financial wellbeing conference
DESCRIPTION:‘Faith and finance’ is designed to help us think more clearly\, confidently\, and faithfully about money\, in our personal lives\, our households\, and our wider communities. We want to help people grow in financial literacy not only for their own wellbeing and that of their loved ones\, but also so we can make choices that contribute to the common good; choices rooted in Christian hope\, compassion\, and wisdom. \nA wide range of practical and ethical topics will be explored with expert speakers\, including: \nPensions and planning for the future\nInvestments and ethical decision-making\nLegacy and will writing\nEthical personal banking\nTalking to children about money\nTools for everyday money management \n\n\nThis is a day for everyone\, not just treasurers or church leaders\, but for anyone who wants to understand their finances more clearly and make decisions that align with their Christian values. Whether you’re feeling confident\, worried\, curious or simply ready to learn\, you will be warmly welcomed. ‘Faith and Finance’ is a chance to explore what money means to us as part of our Christian faith and also take away some personal action points that we can implement in our own daily lives. \n\nLunch and refreshments will be included. \nFull booking details will be released soon\, but for now we encourage you to save the date: Saturday 30 June\, from 10am to 4pm at St Andrew’s Church\, Churchdown. \n  \nLisa- Jayne Lewis – Stewardship and Giving Advisor \nLisa-Jayne helps church leaders to think about how they can preach and teach about money\, how churches can find ways to increase their income\, find grants and think about regular giving and  financial stewardship as part of our Christian discipleship.
