DESCRIPTION:Archdeacon Hilary and Archdeacon Katrina are looking forward very much to seeing all Churchwardens at one of this year’s visitation services. \nThis year for the Archdeacons’ Visitation Services\, which all Churchwardens are encouraged to attend in order to be admitted to their role\, we plan to follow the same pattern as last year and hold five joint Diocesan Wide Visitation Services which we will both attend and share. \nWe expect the services to last no more than an hour\, followed by refreshments which we hope you will be able to stay for and meet fellow wardens.

Through the training participants will gain the skills and confidence to spot the triggers and signs of mental health problems and be able to contribute effectively to reducing stigma. \nYouth Mental Health First Aid (MHFA®) courses are for everyone who works with\, lives with or supports young people aged 8-18. They will teach you the skills and confidence to spot the signs of mental health issues in a young person\, offer first aid and guide them towards the support they need. SUMMARY:Raising Awareness of Domestic Abuse Training
DESCRIPTION:There is a requirement that the Raising awareness of domestic abuse course is completed by all clergy\, PTO\, Readers\, Bishop and Pastoral visitors\, Parish Safeguarding Officers\, all those who have a role with children\, young people and vulnerable adults and lay chapter members. It is estimated that domestic abuse affects 1 in 3 women and 1 in 7 men. Therefore\, we will all know people who are victims and perpetrators of domestic abuse. \nThe aim of the module is designed to equip participants to engage thoughtfully and proactively with the issue of domestic abuse and those affected. \nWe recognise that not everyone will wish to complete modules online so we are also offering some face-to-face sessions. DESCRIPTION:Being Missional Today will be a festival of missional thinking\, exploring the impact of disruptions in church and world\, the liminality of this current season\, and the role of reconciliation practices.
