DESCRIPTION:Immersive space for Being well day\nChildren and adults are invited to encounter peace\, hope and healing through music\, pilates\, mindfulness\, quiet spaces\, nature\, prayer walks\, reflective readings\, health through nutrition and children’s activities. Refreshments are included. \nWe are called by God to Love Him and to love our neighbour\, but to do this we all know the first step is learning to love ourselves.\nOur Being well day will help reflect and experience how we can take care of ourselves physically\, emotionally and spiritually.\n\nA local fitness coach is offering free pilates classes\, plus a session for young children too.\nA local nutritionist is giving talks on how to care for our bodies through what we eat and offering yummy lunches.\nA local masseur is giving head and shoulder massages.\nwe also have ‘Men’s Shed’ with us\, offering support for men’s mental health.\n\nYou sign up for all activities and groups on the day. There will be many interactive activities for all ages\, including an immersive space to relax into\, and prayer stations and opportunities to be still.\n \nCome and join us for an hour or set the time aside and join us for the whole day.

SUMMARY:The ancient parish chests at the West of Severn Benefice
DESCRIPTION:The West of Severn Benefice is opening its churches for people to view their ancient parish chests. \nThere will be children’s activities and refreshments\, and an additional surprise at Hartpury: a chest (in very poor condition)\, believed to have been used by Catholic nuns who were given sanctuary at Hartpury after fleeing from French revolutionary armies in 1794. This is an early example of the diocese’s ecumenical activities. \nFor more information and to be granted entry\, please read The Ancient Parish Chests Booklet\, linked here. \nAdmission to all churches by presentation of booklet is available at any church for £5. \nSaturday 12 July: All churches open from 10am to 4pm \nSunday 13 July: All churches open from 2pm to 4pm (except Staunton from 2.45pm)

DESCRIPTION:Archdeacon Hilary and Archdeacon Katrina are looking forward very much to seeing all Churchwardens at one of this year’s visitation services. \nThis year for the Archdeacons’ Visitation Services\, which all Churchwardens are encouraged to attend in order to be admitted to their role\, we plan to follow the same pattern as last year and hold five joint Diocesan Wide Visitation Services which we will both attend and share. \nWe expect the services to last no more than an hour\, followed by refreshments which we hope you will be able to stay for and meet fellow wardens.
