SUMMARY:Induction & Lunch for new Headteachers
DESCRIPTION:Wednesday 21 January 2026         12.30pm-5.00pm \nNo cost to schools – for Headteachers new to headship in a Church school. This essential induction session is held centrally. It will give you an overview of the distinctive nature of Church school leadership and what it means to lead a Church school. You will be introduced to the people and resources available to support you in your work. You will be welcomed by the Bishop and Education Team and will also get the opportunity to make valuable supportive connections with other colleagues new to headship in our schools. The course is repeated three times across the year to ensure all headteachers (including interim heads\, acting heads and heads of school) new to Church schools in the diocese can attend. Feedback from previous attendees strongly highlights the value of attending on the first available date as you take up your new role. SUMMARY:SIAMS IQ2 – Vision Informed Curriculum
DESCRIPTION:Tuesday 27 January 2026   4.00pm-5.30pm       Online \nFor Headteachers\, Senior Leaders & Curriculum leaders. This training focuses on how to establish an effective curriculum which is rooted in vision and enhances spiritual development. During the session participants will consider the theologically rooted drivers which should inform and shape curriculum design and provision and ensure spiritual development is an intrinsic part of the curriculum.
