Please contact Barrie if you would like some support with transitions. \n\nHelping Children Transition to Secondary School\nIt’s a familiar story: you have wonderful connections with your local primary school\, but when the children move to “big” school\, they seem to vanish. It doesn’t have to be this way! By nurturing relationships with children through Year 6\, you can support them as they take this significant step in their lives. This effort can also pave the way for a new church youth group\, building on the strong foundation established in primary school. \nJoin us and the team from The Rock as we share experiences\, resources\, and strategies to ensure that moving up to secondary school doesn’t mean losing touch. Let’s work together to make this transition smooth and supportive for the children in our care. \nJoin us for one of our sessions on 3 April 2025 at The Rock:\n10am-12pm\n7pm-9pm \nPlease click here to sign up. \n  \nThese meeting will be organised by the Youth Connect Team\, including Jo Wetherall (Senior Children and Families Connector) and Barrie Voyce (Senior Youth Connector). \nJo supports churches across the diocese in developing their work with children and families\, including the nurturing of faith in the home and school-parish relationships. \nBarrie leads the growing network of deanery youth connectors\, enabling and equipping effective youth ministry across the diocese.

SUMMARY:Into Incumbency: Environment and Faith
