DESCRIPTION:This event is for Readers of Gloucester Diocese ONLY.  \nReader Training Day is a full day of training and networking for our Reader Community at Hatherley Manor Hotel. It will include a key note speaker\, workshops and challenging discussions. Lunch and refreshments are included.  \n \nDr Rebecca Dean\, Lecturer in New Testament Studies from Cuddesdon College will be our key note speaker. She will be talking about Collaborative Ministry.  \n  \n  \n  \nPlease save the date. As this event is exclusively for Readers\, the booking form will be emailed to those invited.  \nThis event will be hosted by Nick Partridge – Diocese of Gloucester Funerals Lead and Interim Warden of Readers \nNick Partridge supports the ministry of Readers across the diocese and manages the Funeral team\, leading its development and growth into new areas of the diocese. \n

DESCRIPTION:  \nWe have an exciting day coming up on 31 May at Brimscombe Mill\, engaging with the question I hear most often\, in myriad different ways; ‘how can we help our church thrive?’ \nWe will be exploring this with +Rachel in prayer\, with Carrie Myers [National lead on lay ministry] and with George Ling [author of Seven Sacred Spaces] as well as input from Grace Network and the Mission and Ministry Team. The whole day will be based around our Deaneries\, so that the thinking and learning we do can be relational and specific to context. Of course\, there will be delicious coffee and food from Long Table too! \n  \nThere are a handful of spaces left in a couple of our Deanery groups to be part of this significant day in the life of our Diocese.
