SUMMARY:I (Thou) Robot: God\, morals and machine beings
DESCRIPTION:Artificial Intelligence\, robots\, cyborgs… the breakneck speed of technological advancements brings a mix of fear\, wonder\, excitement and uncertainty. Where is it all going – and what are the implications for humanity? Where is God in all this? Is there a theological perspective? \n\nThis talk will explore the ethical and theological issues arising from AI and machine beings. \nThe Revd Dr Stephen Goundry-Smith will give a presentation on a Christian response. He is a scientific theologian and ethicist\, an ordained CofE minister and a trained hospital pharmacist.
