DESCRIPTION:Dr. Salim Munayer is a Palestinian Christian and Israeli citizen\, and is the founder of Musalaha\, an organisation that works for reconciliation in Palestine/Israel. He is the author of recently published Reconciling Justice\, a book that sets out the teaching of justice of the different religions in the Middle East. \nThis talk is with the Tewkesbury Abbey Theology Forum.

DESCRIPTION:National Interfaith Week is from 11 to 17 November\, and is being celebrated in Gloucester and Cheltenham. \nOn Wednesday 13 November the Gloucester Inter Faith Team (GIFT) have arranged an Interfaith Quiz Night from 6pm to 9pm at The University of Gloucestershire Business School\, Oxstalls Campus\, Oxstalls Lane\, Gloucester GL2 9HW. \nThere will be food and friends all round. SUMMARY:Icon Painting with the Prosopon School of Iconology
DESCRIPTION:Seven-day intensive retreat led by master Iconographer Deacon Nikita Andrejev. \nThere will be a focus on painting the “Angel of The Golden Hair\,” inspired by 12th century icons. \nThere will be an introduction to liquid egg tempera technique\, as well as daily prayers\, lectures on icon symbolism\, and painting demonstrations. \nParticipants will create a complete icon by the end of the retreat. \nBoth residential and non-residential rates are available.
