DESCRIPTION:For anyone interested in youth ministry in the Stroud area\, even if their church is not currently engaged in youth ministry. \nStroud Youth Ministry Connect is an opportunity to meet regularly to chat\, share ideas\, pray and look at how we can work together. It doesn’t have to be this way! By nurturing relationships with children through Year 6\, you can support them as they take this significant step in their lives. This effort can also pave the way for a new church youth group\, building on the strong foundation established in primary school. \nJoin us and the team from The Rock as we share experiences\, resources\, and strategies to ensure that moving up to secondary school doesn’t mean losing touch. DESCRIPTION:For anyone interested in youth ministry in the Stroud area\, even if their church is not currently engaged in youth ministry. \nStroud Youth Ministry Connect is an opportunity to meet regularly to chat\, share ideas\, pray and look at how we can work together. Most importantly\, it is an opportunity to look at how we might bring young people together in this location. \nThere is no need to book your place to attend these sessions. However\, it would be helpful if you could register your interest if you do plan to attend just so we can keep an eye on attendee numbers. \nIf you haven’t registered your interest please don’t let that put you off attending as the Team will always welcome you. \n  \n  \n  \nThis drop in session will be led by the Senior Youth Connector\, Barrie Voyce. \n  \nBarrie leads the growing network of deanery youth connectors\, enabling and equipping effective youth ministry across the diocese.

DESCRIPTION:If you’ve always wanted to take your group away to a Christian Summer Camp\, but lack the numbers\, volunteers\, or energy to do so\, worry no more! \nThe Connect Team want to bring like minded leaders together\, join them up and send them out to experience the spiritual and relational highs of taking a group away\, whilst sharing the planning\, organising and stresses between them. \nWe’ll be looking at what camps are out there\, what’s suitable\, and exploring some of the logistical challenges. \nBy the end of the evening we hope we’ll have a plan of who’s doing what\, and more importantly\, who’s taking their group where. \n  \nThere will be two opportunities to meet together online: \n27 February 2025 \n4 March 2025 \nPlease click here to sign up if you would like to be included on the meeting invite. \n  \nThese meeting will be organised by the Youth Connect Team\, including Jo Wetherall (Senior Children and Families Connector) and Barrie Voyce (Senior Youth Connector). \nJo supports churches across the diocese in developing their work with children and families\, including the nurturing of faith in the home and school-parish relationships. \nBarrie leads the growing network of deanery youth connectors\, enabling and equipping effective youth ministry across the diocese.
