A series of monthly Summer Quiet Days in the beautiful setting of the Church of St John the Baptist, Harescombe.
The next Quiet Day will be on Thursday 17 August led by Liz Eden on the theme ‘…Consider the birds…’ and there will be another on Wednesday 27 September.
The days run from 10am – 3pm and are held in the church hall and the church. They include times of worship, reflection and silence. Coffees, teas and lunch will be provided. There are beautiful local walks and a churchyard as well as a church garden in which to enjoy this beautiful rural setting. We hope the days will provide a valuable opportunity for people to spend time with God away from all the usual demands of daily life.
