Over the summer there will be a series of monthly Quiet Days in the beautiful setting of the church of St John the Baptist, Harescombe.
The first Quiet Day will be on Friday 23 June. It will be led by Revd Helen Sammon, on the theme of ‘Through all the changing scenes of life’.
The day will run from 10am to 3pm. The day will be held in the church hall and the church, and will include times of worship, reflection and silence. Coffees, teas and lunch will be provided. There are beautiful local walks and a church yard as well as a church garden in which to enjoy this beautiful rural setting.
The days will provide a valuable opportunity for people to spend time with God away from all the usual demands of daily life.
