Asset Based Community Development encourages good practice for churches engaging with local communities. The ABCD approach resonates with the Christian understanding of ‘mission dei’ – finding out what God is doing and joining in – and with our understanding that everyone God has made is of value and has something worthwhile to offer. Explore the practicalities of the ABCD model and how it may dovetail with the theology and practice of mission.
