Tewkesbury Abbey, in partnership with Tewkesbury Culture’s Two Rivers Converge Festival, is delighted to host Gaia; a spectacular touring artwork by renowned UK artist Luke Jerram.
Internally lit, Gaia comes into its own during the evening when the light is low and there is a more profound sense of what it might be like to see Earth from space. A specially made surround sound composition by BAFTA award-winning Composer Dan Jones is played alongside the sculpture.
Tewkesbury Abbey remains free to all to enter each day 9am to 4pm, and Gaia can be seen during this time too, except 12-14 February when the Abbey will be closed.
